What an honour to be apart of such a wonderful tribute to our Veterans and those who still serve.
Lest We Forget
Community | A new Lest We Forget crosswalk has been painted at the intersection of Cannifton Road and Bell Boulevard. The crosswalk leads to the Veterans Monument in the southwest corner of the intersection and is beside the Veterans Bridge. This morning, the Veterans Council, Legion and members from 8 Wing Trenton joined us for a ceremonial walk on the new crosswalk.
The crosswalk will serve as another reminder of those who sacrificed their lives in the fight for our freedom.
