Would like to thank Gerry from House and Property for doing an amazing job on the frame of our Legion Charter. This Charter was framed in 1927 and was in need of same TLC. This is still the original frame just redone
Poppy Campaign
Community | The 2024 Belleville Poppy Campaign is now underway. At last night’s council meeting, Scott Wannamaker, Chair of the Belleville Poppy Campaign, Terry Law, President of the Army, Navy & Airforce Veterans and Mike Benson, President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 99, pinned a poppy on Mayor Ellis to mark the start of the campaign.
The campaign will run from now through Nov. 11 at various locations around town. Be sure to pick up a poppy and make a donation. All proceeds will help support local Veterans and their families.

Each year, at the National Remembrance Day Ceremony at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, countless Canadians come together to pay tribute to our Veterans and mourn those who gave their lives in service to our country. This year, at 11:30 a.m., as the solemn notes of God Save the King fill the air, a special flypast of vintage military aircraft will soar above, marking the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
