Mr. Gerald Sequillion (Gerry) Obituary
It is with an abundance of sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gerry Sequillion, at the age of 74. Gerry was predeceased by his beloved wife and soulmate, Rita (Roberts), with whom he shared a lifetime of love and laughter for over 50 years. He leaves behind his devoted son Brian (Sandra), and was a proud and loving Poppy to Sophie and Spencer, who brought endless joy to his life. Gerry will be deeply missed by his siblings: Fred, Patsy (Robert), Robert (Margaret), Gary, Paul (Tammy), Christopher (Elaine), and Sharon (Dennis). He is reunited in rest with Harold (Margaret) Bernardine (survived brother-in-law Patrick) Edward, Jim (survived sister-in-law Dawn) and John (Ellen) who predeceased him. He will also be fondly remembered by the Roberts family, the Sutton/Nicholson family, his many nieces and nephews, his extended family in Newfoundland, United States, Alberta, his lakeside friends at Lake Consecon Resort, his cherished comrades at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 99, the Family of Anglers, his furry companion, DB and all the friends he's met along the way. In accordance with Gerry's wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest in Hare Bay, Newfoundland, beside his beloved Rita. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #99, 51 Highland Ave, Belleville, ON on Saturday, May 31st, 2025 from 1:00-5:00 p.m., memories to be shared at 2:30 p.m.. All who knew and loved Gerry are welcome to attend.
